REC signs MoU with NICSI for various information & communications technology

The MoU will benefit the REC ecosystem by facilitating exploration of latest technology in areas like IoT, AI, machine learning, data analytics, blockchain and cyber security

Gurugram: REC Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Informatics Centre Services Inc. (NICSI) under the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, for various Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and Digital Transformation Services, according to an official release on Friday.

The MoU will benefit the REC ecosystem by facilitating the exploration of the latest technology in evolving areas like IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Blockchain, Cyber Security etc, an official statement said.

The MoU was signed by Pankaj Gupta, GM & HOD (IT) of REC Limited and Vinay Thakur, MD of NICSI, in New Delhi.

"This collaboration with NICSI will enable REC in providing one-stop end-to-end NIC/NICSI software products deployment, hosting, core roll-out, technical support, security, services, system administration, etc," REC said.
