RINL holds 42nd AGM; CMD highlights achievements and challenges

Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, held its 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday at its registered office in Visakhapatnam.

The meeting was chaired by RINL CMD (Additional Charge) Ajit Kumar Saxena. Sudershan Mendiratta, Director, Ministry of Steel, attended on behalf of the President of India as the authorized nominee.

Other attendees included Arun Kanti Bagchi, Director (Projects) & Additional Charge Director (Operations); Suresh Chandra Pandey, Director (Personnel); Ch SRVGK Ganesh, Director (Finance); GVN Prasad, Director (Commercial); and Dr Sanjay Roy, Government Director. The Company Affairs Department coordinated the proceedings.

In his address, Saxena reviewed the company’s performance during the financial year 2023-24, highlighting strategic initiatives, production achievements, and challenges faced. He expressed gratitude to stakeholders, including the Ministry of Steel, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, suppliers, customers, ancillary units, and others, for their continued support and trust.

The Chairman concluded by emphasizing the importance of stakeholder collaboration for the company's future growth and success.
