In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, RITES said the financial bid was submitted under a Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) process. The contract is estimated to be worth Rs 28.50 crore, excluding GST, and is subject to final award following technical and financial evaluation by GUDC.

The scope of work involves TPI services for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across Gujarat. The contract duration is set at 60 months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Award (LOA) or Notice to Proceed (NTP).

RITES confirmed that this is a domestic contract and that there is no related party involvement in the transaction.

This project is part of the government’s larger thrust to improve urban infrastructure through AMRUT 2.0 (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) and SJMMSVY (Shri JNNURM-Mission Mode Swachhata Yojana).
