RITES receives revised estimates for Rs 729 crore railway electrification project from South Western Railway

New Delhi: RITES Limited has received revised estimates worth Rs 729.28 crore (excluding GST) for railway electrification works on the Mysuru–Hassan–Mangaluru route including Hassan–Arsikere, awarded by South Western Railway.

In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges, the company said the project will be executed on a cost-plus turnkey basis.

The contract pertains to railway electrification works covering the Mysuru–Hassan–Mangaluru section along with the Hassan–Arsikere stretch, aimed at strengthening rail infrastructure and improving operational efficiency on the route.

According to the disclosure, the revised project cost stands at Rs 729.28 crore excluding GST, which includes RITES’ fees.
