RITES secures $20.6 million international order from Mozambique firm

RITES Limited has secured a major international order worth USD 20.60 million from ICVL Mozambique, the company informed stock exchanges on Tuesday

New Delhi: State-owned transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm RITES Limited has secured a major international order worth USD 20.60 million from ICVL Mozambique, the company informed stock exchanges on Tuesday.

The company has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the supply of new Cape Gauge Diesel Electric Locomotives, along with provision for preventive maintenance services and consumable spares at site. The order has been awarded by an international entity and marks another significant milestone in RITES’ overseas business portfolio.

As per the filing, the supply of locomotives is scheduled to be completed within 15 months, followed by a 24-month maintenance period.

RITES stated that the order marks its growing presence in the global rail infrastructure segment and reflects its expertise in delivering end-to-end rail solutions, including rolling stock supply and long-term maintenance services.
