RITES secures contract worth Rs 69.78 crore from SAIL's Bhilai Steel Plant

RITES Limited has announced a significant contract win worth Rs 69.78 crore from the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)

New Delhi: RITES Limited, a prominent engineering consultancy and project management firm under the Ministry of Railways, has announced a significant contract win from the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). The contract, valued at Rs 69.78 crore (excluding GST), involves the repair and maintenance of 43 WDS6 locomotives at SAIL's Bhilai Steel Plant.

The scope of work includes comprehensive R3Y/R6Y-level repairs for the locomotives over a period of three years. Valued at Rs 69.78 crore, exclusive of GST, the project reaffirms RITES' capabilities in delivering high-quality locomotive maintenance services to industrial leaders. The transaction does not involve any promoter group or related party interests, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining transparency.

RITES Limited announced this a regulatory filing to the stock exchange on January 2.
