RITES secures Rs 52 crore order from Cochin International Airport for bridge construction project

New Delhi: RITES Limited, a leading transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm, has received a Letter of Award from Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) for the construction of a Regulator-cum-Bridge (RCB) across Chengalthodu at Chengal, Kanjoor Panchayath near Cochin International Airport.

According to an official communication filed with the stock exchanges, the project will be executed on a turnkey basis, from concept to commissioning, under a cost-plus-fee arrangement. The estimated project cost is Rs 52 crore, exclusive of GST, and includes Project Management Consultancy (PMC) fees.

The project is expected to be completed within 24 months. RITES confirmed that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related-party transactions.

The company stated that the new assignment underscores its growing footprint in infrastructure development and engineering consultancy, further strengthening its order book in the domestic market.

RITES Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, provides consultancy, engineering, and project management services in transport infrastructure and allied sectors across India and abroad.
