RITES signs MoU with DGNP-Mumbai for consultancy services

RITES has signed an MoU with DGNP, Mumbai for providing comprehensive consultancy services for naval infrastructure works in the Mumbai region

New Delhi: RITES Limited, the leading transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm under the Ministry of Railways, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Director General of Naval Projects (DGNP), Mumbai, Indian Navy. The agreement is aimed at providing comprehensive consultancy services for naval infrastructure works in the Mumbai region.

Under the MoU, RITES will offer its technical expertise in areas such as soil investigation, feasibility studies, structural and architectural design, preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), project management consultancy, bid management, and third-party inspection services.

The partnership is expected to strengthen the planning and execution of infrastructure projects under DGNP, Mumbai, by leveraging RITES’ extensive experience in engineering and project management.

This collaboration marks another significant step for RITES in expanding its footprint in defence-related infrastructure consultancy, aligning with the government’s focus on strengthening indigenous capabilities and infrastructure support for the Indian Navy.
