RVNL emerges as lowest bidder for HORC project

RVNL has emerged as the Lowest Bidder for Package Number C-4: Composite Contract package in connection with new BG Railway Line of HORC project

New Delhi: State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) said in a regulatory filing that it "has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for Package Number C-4: Composite Contract package in connection with new BG Railway Line of HORC project."

Details about contract package

The contract package includes, "Design and Construction of Twin Tunnel using NATM and cut and cover method from 24.88 kilometre to 29.58 kilometre, Design and Installation of Ballast less Track (excluding supply of rails) from 24.856 kilometre to 29.68 kilometre, Detailed Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of General Electrical Services including Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 11 kV HT/LT power and Control Cable Network. GIS Substation (11/0.433) kVA. Tunnel lighting system from 24.88 kilometre to 29.68 kilometre, Design and Construction of Embankment, Bridges and other miscellaneous works from 12 kilometre to 18 kilometre."

Cost & time of project

The filing also said that the estimated cost of the project is Rs 1,088.49 crores. The time period for completing this project is around 1,460 days, it said.
