RVNL-GEW bags project worth over Rs 81 cr from South Central Railway

RVNL-GEW, a joint venture between RVNL and Ganapathi Engineers Works, emerged as the lowest bidder for a project worth Rs 81,22,28,896.04 from South Central Railway

New Delhi: State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday that RVNL-GEW, a joint venture between RVNL and Ganapathi Engineers Works, Hubli, has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) from South Central Railway for “Comprehensive signalling and telecommunication works for provision of automatic block signalling system in Balharshah- Makudi section of Secunderabad Division in South Central Railway.”

Further, the filing noted that the cost of project is Rs 81,22,28,896.04. RVNL's shareholding in the project will be 49 percent while Ganapathi Engineers Works, Hubli will own 51 percent of the shares. The filing also said that the time-period of project completion is 540 days.
