New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) for a major infrastructure contract under Phase-IV of the Delhi Metro expansion project.
The contract, designated as Package D2C-02, includes the part design and construction of a 7.298 km-long viaduct from chainage 1202.782 metres to 8501.25 metres. The project scope also includes the construction of platforms for seven metro stations—Pushp Vihar, Saket District Court, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, Greater Kailash-1, Andrews Ganj, and Lajpat Nagar—along with the installation of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) structures at each of these stations.
This corridor forms a critical part of the Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block stretch of the Delhi Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) Phase-IV network.
The company confirmed that neither its promoter nor any related party has any interest in DMRC, and the transaction does not constitute a related party arrangement.
This new contract underscores RVNL’s growing presence in executing high-value metro and railway infrastructure projects across India, strengthening its order book and reinforcing its role in expanding urban mass transit networks.
