Overburden removal stood at 99.36 million cubic metres (MCuM), marking a 5.62 percent increase over the corresponding period last year.

SECL also achieved its highest-ever monthly performance in June 2026, with record coal production and offtake, while OBR touched an all-time high of 34.05 MCuM, exceeding the monthly target by nearly 10 percent and growing 17.3 percent year-on-year.

The company's mechanised coal evacuation through First Mile Connectivity (FMC) systems rose 19.7 percent to 19.58 MT during the quarter, reflecting increased adoption of cleaner and more efficient silo-based loading.
