As part of the review process, the committee may examine relevant records, seek information from concerned officials and verify available facts and evidence. Complaints will be dealt with in accordance with applicable rules and prescribed procedures.
SECL said complaints may be submitted by any person regarding alleged irregularities in employment in lieu of land, use of forged or fabricated documents, concealment of material facts for obtaining employment, or other related matters, along with relevant documents and evidence.
The company clarified that there is no provision for withdrawal of a duly registered complaint and advised complainants to submit complaints only on the basis of authentic facts and available evidence.
SECL has also cautioned stakeholders against intermediaries, unverified information and misleading claims. It said legal action may be initiated against complainants if a complaint is found to be knowingly false, malicious, misleading or intended to tarnish an individual's reputation or cause unnecessary harassment.
