SJVN expresses gratitude to Power Minister for Navratna status

SJVN Limited CMD Sushil Sharma met with Minister of Power Manohar Lal to express gratitude for the Navratna status and seek further guidance

New Delhi: On momentous occasion of SJVN having been granted prestigious Navratna status, management of SJVN, including CMD Sushil Sharma, Director (Finance) Akhileshwar Singh and Director {Personnel (Designate)} Ajay Kumar Sharma called upon Minister of Power Manohar Lal, Secretary Power Pankaj Agarwal and Joint Secretary (Hydro) Md Afzal to express gratitude and seek further guidance.

During the courtesy meet, Minister of Power congratulated SJVN and also motivated to take the new responsibility as a challenge to further grow and contribute to nation building along with the pleasantries.

During the meeting, Minister emphasized that SJVN along with other Power CPSEs should develop a dedicated skill force specifically equipped in the field of Power Generation technologies. He further directed to put concerted efforts in Research & Development field and come out with innovative and out of the box solutions for cost optimisation both in generation as well as transmission areas.
