Steel Min Secretary visits SAIL BSP, reviews performance of plant

Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Steel visited SAIL's BSP unit to review the performance of the plant

New Delhi: Maharatna PSU SAIL in a tweet on Friday said that Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Steel visited SAIL's BSP unit to review the performance of the plant. During his visit, he attended a presentation by the team that highlighted the performance of the plant. After the presentation, he also interacted with senior officials at length. "Later, Sinha also interacted with a cross-section of junior officers of the plant," the tweet added.

Sinha was accompanied by Director I/c during his visit to Modex units. The Secretary took a keen interest in coke-making operations at COB 11, the production of hot metal at Blast Furnace 8, the production of crude steel at SMS 3, production and loading of the world’s longest 130-metre rail at Universal Rail Mill, the tweet said.
