TRAI extends deadline for stakeholders' comments on consultation paper

TRAI has announced an extension of the deadline for stakeholders to submit written comments and counter comments on the Consultation Paper titled "Definition of International Traffic"

New Delhi: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced an extension of the deadline for stakeholders to submit written comments and counter comments on the Consultation Paper titled "Definition of International Traffic", said the Ministry of Communications in a statement on Tuesday. Further, it added that initially released on May 2, 2023, the Consultation Paper aims to seek inputs from industry stakeholders on various aspects related to international traffic in the telecom sector.

Deadline extended to June 20

The original deadline for stakeholders to submit their written comments was scheduled for May 30 with the counter comments deadline set for June 13. However, in response to requests from industry associations seeking additional time, TRAI has decided to extend the deadline for written comments until June 20. The deadline for counter comments has been extended to July 4.

Stakeholders can share comments on email

Stakeholders are encouraged to send their comments and counter comments to Akhilesh Kumar Trivedi, Advisor (Network, Spectrum and Licensing), TRAI. The preferred method of submission is in electronic form, and the email address for submission is advmn@trai.gov.in.
