Union Bank of India pays annual interest worth Rs 61,11,50,000 on its bonds

Union Bank of India paid annual interest of Rs 61,11,50,000 on its bonds on Monday

New Delhi: State-owned Union Bank of India said in a regulatory filing that the bank on Monday paid annual interest of Rs 61,11,50,000 on its bonds. further, the filing noted that the issue size was Rs 850 crores. the record date for interest payment was June 9 and the actual due date was June 24. However, due to non-business days, the bank paid the interest on Monday, June 26.

It is worth noting that the applicable Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) has been duly deducted in accordance with the relevant regulations, said the filing.
