Union Coal Minister reviews Coal India's operations during Kolkata visit

New Delhi: The Union Minister of Coal and Mines G Kishan Reddy visited Coal India’s corporate office in Kolkata. At the outset, the Minister paid floral tributes at the Martyr’s memorial and planted saplings at the corporate office, reaffirming Coal India's commitment to green mining. He chaired a review meeting to discuss key issues related to coal production, dispatch, and supply, and also assessed the progress of the Jharia Master Plan.

The Ministery of Coal's Additional Secretary M Nagaraju, Coal India's Chairman PM Prasad, Director (Technical) Dr B Veera Reddy, Director (Business Development) Debasish Nanda, Director (Marketing) Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Finance) Mukesh Agrawal, Chief Vigilance Officer Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, BCCL's CMD Samiran Dutta, Director (Technical) SK Singh, Executive Directors and senior officials of Coal India were present in the meeting.
