New Delhi: The Gujarat Government is set to host the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for South Gujarat at AURO University, Surat, on May 1 and 2, officials said on Wednesday.
The conference, which will include sessions for startups and a panel discussion, will reaffirm the state's commitment to sustainable, innovation-driven and inclusive economic growth, said an official release.

The event will open with a talk on 'Driving Real-World Impact with Drone Startups' by co-founder, InsideFPV Divyant Bhardwaj. InsideFPV supplies tactical, surveillance, interceptor and FPV (first-person-view) drones to India's defence ecosystem and it will highlight the transformative role of drone technology across agriculture, infrastructure and governance, the release said.
It will be followed by an address on 'Industry as a Catalyst for Startup Growth' by Mayur Shah, Executive Director, Suzuki, focusing on industry-Startup collaboration and innovation-led manufacturing, it added.
A Fireside Chat on 'Leading India's Sustainable Industrial Revolution' will feature Kartikey Hariyani, Founder, Chargezone, and Nirav Dhanai, Founder, Heaven Green Energy Ltd.
The seminar's highlight will be a panel discussion titled 'South Gujarat Growth Engine: Advancing the Vision of Viksit Bharat 2047'. The session will be moderated by Kashyap Pandya, Founder of Syncoro Venture.

The panel will feature entrepreneurs from South Gujarat, including Chintan Shah of Solance Energy, Chetan Kanani of Alpino Health Foods, Sandip Vinubhai Kathiriya of Easysell Service, Hiren Lathiya of Skylee and Kushan Patel of Quadsofttech.
The session will also feature an international perspective on startups through a presentation by Ajay Singh, senior advisor to the commercial counsellor for start-ups, technology and innovation at Advantage Austria.
