KK Srivastava set to be DS in Dept of Chemicals & Petrochemicals

New Delhi: Kanishk Kant Srivastava (ISS) is set to be Deputy Secretary in the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Srivastava has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme (CCS).

He has been appointed for a period of four years from taking charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Srivastava is an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer of 2006 batch. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals

Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals is an agency of the government established in 1991. The agency is part of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers. The responsibilities of the departments include policy, planning, development and regulation of Chemicals and Petrochemicals Industries.
