Sidh Kumar (ITS) set to be JS in CIC

Sidh Kumar, who was recommended for Central deputation, has been selected for appointment as Joint Secretary in the Central Information Commission (CIC)

New Delhi: Sidh Kumar (ITS) is set to be Joint Secretary in the CIC (Central Information Commission). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kumar has been selected for appointment as Joint Secretary (Director level) in the CIC (Central Information Commission), Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years, from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kumar is an Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) officer of 1998 batch. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). He had served as Director (Technical) of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
