New Delhi: Abhishek Swami is set to be next Director (Finance) of Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRPV), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Finance & Law) in the Indian Railways.

Swami has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of MRVC from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 31. The candidates included senior executives from major public sector undertakings such as Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), NLC India Limited, Grid Controller of India Limited, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
