ACC approves appointment of Sasanka Sarmah (IRPS) as NEEPCO CVO

The ACC has approved the appointment of Sasanka Sarmah (IRPS) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NEEPCO Limited

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sasanka Sarmah, IRPS (2002), as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), Shillong, under the Ministry of Power.

According to the official order, Sarmah will serve at the level of Joint Secretary for an initial tenure of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
