ACC clears appointment of Sivakumar V Vepakomma for SECI's Director (Power System) post

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sivakumar V Vepakomma for the post of Director (Power System) of SECI

New Delhi: The Central Government has clears the appointment of Sivakumar V Vepakomma as Director (Power System) of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) on Tuesday. He was recommended for the post of Director (Power System) of SECI from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on March 19.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) for the appointment of Vepakomma for the post of Director (Power System) on August 20. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager in NTPC Green Energy Limited.

Vepakomma has been appointed to the post for a period for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation, i.e. August 31, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
