Amit Kumar set to be next CMD of AI Assets Holding Limited

New Delhi: Amit Kumar is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of AI Assets Holding Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director at Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Kumar has been recommended for the post of CMD of AI Assets Holding Limited from a list of seven candidates who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 14. Out of seven candidates, two candidates were from ONGC and one each from ONGC, SAIL, SMPCIL, BHEL, HPCL and Indian Railways.

AI Assets Holding Limited is a SPV formed by Government of India with an aim to provide unified Asset Holding Services as stated in Object Clauses of its Memorandum of Association.
