Amit Tandon set to be next Director (Projects) of RVNL

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Amit Tandon for the post of Director (Projects) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) on October 11

New Delhi: Amit Tandon is set to be next Director (Projects) of RVNL Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board panel on October 11. Presently, he is serving as Principal Executive Director (Metro) in the same organisation.

Tandon has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of RVNL from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB Panel in its selection meeting held on October 11. The candidates interviewed for the post, including senior officials from RVNL, IRCON International Limited, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Coal India Limited, and the Ministry of Railways.

Tandon is a Civil Engineer from the 1990 batch of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, with 33 years of experience in the construction sector. During his tenure at Delhi Metro, he played a key role in developing and executing last-mile connectivity solutions.
