Anand Kumar Singh set to be next Director (Projects) of IRCON

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Anand Kumar Singh for the post of Director (Projects) of IRCON International Limited

New Delhi: Anand Kumar Singh is set to be next Ditrector (Projects) of IRCON International Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Anand is an Indian Railways Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer. Presently, he is serving as Chief Engineer in Indian Railways.

Singh has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of IRCON International Limited from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on March 6. Out of 11 candidates, six candidates were from IRCON International Limited, two candidates from Indian Railways and one each from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) and Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR).

Director (Projects) of IRCON International Limited, Singh will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Managing Director. He will be in-charge of project planning, marketing operations and for securing new business in India and abroad. He will also monitor ongoing international projects, promoting indigenisation under the Atma Nirbhar Scheme of the Government.
