Anil Kumar Chawla set to be next Director (Personnel) of ECIL

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Anil Kumar Chawla for the post of Director (Personnel) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL)

New Delhi: Anil Kumar Chawla is set to be next Director (Personnel) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (HR) at NTPC Limited.

Chawal has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of ECIL from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 7. Out of seven candidates, two candidates were from BSNL, and one each from SAIL, NTPC Limited, Engineers India Limited, Power Grid and THDC (India) Limited.

As Director (Personnel) of ECIL, Chawla will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organisation.
