Anil Kumar Gupta set to be next Member (Planning) of AAI

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Anil Kumar Gupta for the Airports Authority of India’s (AAI) Member (Plaining) post

New Delhi: Anil Kumar Gupta is set to be next Members (Planning) of Airports Authority of India (AAI), a PSU under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Engg.) in the same organisation.

Gupta has been recommended for the post of Member (Planning) of AAI from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on March 18. Out of 18 candidates, seven candidates were from AAI, three candidates from Engineers India Limited (EIL) and two from Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) services of Indian Railways.

As Member (Planning) of AAI, Gupta will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman. He will be responsible for formulation of plans and setting of goals for development of green field and brown fields Airports of AAI for modernization and development of airport infrastructure.
