Anup Hanjura set to be next Director (Technical) of CCL

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Anup Hanjura for the post of Director (Technical) of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) on Friday

New Delhi: Anup Hanjura is set to be next Director (Technical) of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Coal. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Area General Manager (Pench & Kanhan Area) at Western Coalfields Limited (WCL).

Hanjura has been recommended for the post of Director (Technical) of CCL from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on September 26. Out of 12 candidates, two candidates were from NLC India Limited, two candidates from BCCL and one each from DVC, ECL, DVC, CCL, WCL, NCL, NTPC Limited and DGMS.

As Director (Technical) of CCL, Hanjura will be a member of the Board of Directors of CCL and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for operation of mines and also of field activities, technical functions and safety of mines.
