Anurag Sharma appointed as Director (Infrastructure) of DFCCIL

The ACC has approved the appointment of Anurag Sharma as Director (Infrastructure) of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL)

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Anurag Sharma as Director (Infrastructure) on the Board of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL). The appointment has been made based on a proposal from the Ministry of Railways.

Sharma is currently serving as Executive Director at DFCCIL. He will assume the new role from the date he takes charge and will hold the position until the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

He was recommended for the same post by the PESB Panel on January 13.

DFCCIL, a Special Purpose Vehicle under the Ministry of Railways, is responsible for planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of dedicated freight corridors in India, aimed at improving freight logistics and enhancing capacity across the railway network.
