Bhaskar Chowdary Nettem set to be next Director (Production) of ONGC

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Bhaskar Chowdary Nettem for the post of Director (Production) of ONGC Limited on Wednesday

New Delhi: Bhaskar Chowdary Nettem is set to be next Director (Production) of ONGC Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Wednesday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.

Chowdary has been recommended for the post of Director (Production) of ONGC Limited from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its meeting no. 42/2026 held on June 3. Out of 12 candidates, 11 candidates were from ONGC itself and one candidate was from Engineers India Limited (EIL).

As Director (Production) of ONGC, Chowdary will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and CEO. He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s entire offshore and onshore production operations, including processing plants.
