Bikram Ghosh assumes additional charge as Director (Personnel) of WCL

Bikram Ghosh, who is presently serving as Director (Finance) of WCL, has assumed the additional charge as Director (Personnel) of the company with effect from August 1

New Delhi: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has announced the appointment of Bikram Ghosh as the Director (Personnel). Ghosh, who has been serving as Director (Finance) since March 2024, took on this additional role on August 1. The Ministry of Coal has entrusted him with the dual responsibilities for a three-month period.

Ghosh brings over 28 years of rich experience in the coal industry. He began his career at the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) after earning his ICMA degree in 1992. In 1996, he joined Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) as a Finance Officer. Throughout his career, he has held numerous key positions, including General Manager (Finance) at various BCCL locations and its headquarters.

The WCL leadership extended a warm welcome to Ghosh in his new role. WCL CMD JP Dwivedi, Director Technical (Operations/Planning & Project) AK Singh and CVO Ajay Madhukar Mhetre expressed their best wishes for his success.
