New Delhi: State-owned BEML said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday that Bipin Kumar Gupta has been appointed as Independent Director on the Board of the company with effect from March 14.
Bipin Kumar Gupta has been serving as the Director of M/s Utkal Metallics Limited from January 8, 2003 to this date. He is also the Director of M/s Cogent Steel and Pipes Private Limited since January 22, 2018. He was Managing Director of M/s Ambica Iron and Steel Private Limited from 1988 to 2003 which is a Rolling Mill Unit for production of MS Flat, Channel Etc. He has an enormous commercial and financial knowledge as per his immense experience in steel industries. He is involved in the steel industry for last 44 years. He is very self-oriented, motivated and quick decision maker.
