New Delhi: State-owned Central Bank of India said in a regulatory filing on Friday that Chandrakant Bhagwat (ACS -29955) has joined as Company Secretary of the Bank.

"The board of directors in the meeting held on Friday approved his appointment under the regulations including, Regulation 6(1) of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Regulation 2(c) of SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 read with Code of Conduct formulated by the Bank, Regulation 17A of SEBI (Debenture Trustees) Regulations, 1993 and Regulation 16A of SEBI (Bankers to an Issue) Regulations, 199," said the filing.
