CIL CVO Brajesh Kr Tripathy gets additional charge as CVO of NLC India Ltd

The Central Government has assigned additional charge of CVO of NLC India Limited to Coal India CVO Brajesh Kumar Tripathy

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the proposal for entrustment of the additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NLC India Limited to Brajesh Kumar Tripathy. Tripathy is an Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSME) officer of 1998-batch. Presently, he is serving as CVO of Coal India Limited (CIL).

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Tripathy has been given additional charge of the post for a period of one year with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post till the appointment of a regular CVO in NLC India Ltd or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Tripathy (IRSE) has been serving as CVO of Coal India since November 16, 2022. He did Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from MNREC, Allahabad and Masters of Technology from IIT, Delhi. Before joining CIL, he served in the administrative post of Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) of Asansol Division of Eastern Railway. Earlier, he was instrumental in many vigilance reforms and system improvements while working as Chief Vigilance Officer (Engg.) in Eastern Railway.

Tripathy has vast experience of about 25 years in planning, design and execution of various Railway projects, as well as maintenance and operation of major infrastructure. He has expertise in matters related to the establishment, budget, tenders and contract management etc.
