Devidatta Satapathy gets additional charge as CVO of Paradip Port Authority

The Govt has entrusted Devidatta Satapathy (IRSME), with the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Paradip Port Authority (PPA)

New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has entrusted Devidatta Satapathy (IRSME), with the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Paradip Port Authority (PPA).

Satapathy is currently serving as CVO at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port Authority (SPMPA), Kolkata. As per the order, he will hold the additional responsibility for a period of one year from the date of assumption of charge, or until a regular CVO is appointed at PPA, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways had proposed the arrangement through an office memorandum dated September 3, 2025, which has now been approved by the Competent Authority.
