New Delhi: Dr Ashok Kumar Panda is set be next Director (Finance) of Steel Authority of India (SAIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Steel. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Saturday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) in the same organisation.
Panda has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of SAIL by the PESB Panel Selection Panel in its 13th Selection Meeting held on February 8, in which a total of 10 candidates were interviewed. Out of 10 candidates, a total of five candidates were from SAIL, and one each from Ircon International Limited (IRCON), Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) and Indian Oil.
