New Delhi: Dr Harikrishnan S has been appointed as Director (Operations) of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a PSU under the Ministry of Port, Shipping & Waterways. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Dr Harikrishnan for the post on August 21.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Dr Harikrishnan, who is currently serving as Executive Director at CSL, will assume the new role with effect from the date he takes charge. His tenure will continue until his superannuation on May 31, 2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Dr Harikrishnan was recommended for the post of Director (Operations) of CSL by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on May 22. He was among 11 candidates, who were interviewed for the same post by PESB.
