Dr Suman Kumar set to be next Director (Commercial) of NBCC

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Dr Suman Kumar for the post of Director (Commercial) of NBCC (India) Limited on Wednesday

New Delhi: Dr Suman Kumar is set to be next Director (Commercial) of NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Kumar has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Wednesday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.

Kumar has been recommended for the post of Director (Commercial) of NBCC from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on March 13. Out of eight candidates, three candidates were from NBCC, two from Engineers India Limited and one each from WAPCOS, BHEL and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited.

As Director (Commercial) of NBCC, Kumar will be a member of Board of Directors of NBCC and will report to the Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for the procurement and execution of products in both real estate and re-development segments including real estate marketing. He will also be responsible for business development for corporation in domestic and international market and execution of overseas projects.
