DVC ED (Finance) Sadananda Mukherjee assumes additional charge as finance head repatriated

Sadananda Mukherjee, DVC's Executive Director (Finance), has taken additional charge as Member (Finance) from April 25, following Arup Sarkar's repatriation to NSPCL

New Delhi: In a key administrative reshuffle in the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), a premier Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Power, the Executive Director Sadananda Mukherjee has assumed the additional charge of Member (Finance). In a statement released on April 30, the company said: " Sadananda Mukherjee, Executive Director (Finance), Damodar Valley Corporation has assumed the additional charge of Member (Finance), DVC, with effect from April 25, 2026".

The move comes in the wake of Arup Sarkar's repatriation to his parent organization, NSPCL. Sarkar, who served as Member (Finance) at DVC, was relieved of his duties on April 24, 2026.

In his expanded role, Mukherjee will oversee the financial functions of DVC, ensuring continuity in financial management, corporate governance, and strategic oversight. His extensive experience in finance is expected to bolster DVC’s ongoing initiatives and operational priorities.
