Harish Duhan set to be next Director (Technical) of CCL

New Delhi: Harish Duhan is set to be the next Director (Technical) of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Coal. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board Panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).

Duhan has been recommended for the post of Director (Technical) of CCL from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on November 6. Out of 12 candidates, four candidates from CCL, three from Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), two from NMDC and each from Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) and NTPC Limited.

As Director (Technical) of CCL, Duhan will be a member of the Board of Directors of CCL and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for operation of mines and also of field activities, technical functions and safety of mines.
