HCL appoints Kulveer Singh Yadav (IOFS) as Govt Nominee Director

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has appointed Kulveer Singh Yadav as Part-time Official (Government Nominee) Director on its Board with effect from Thursday

New Delhi: State-owned Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has appointed Kulveer Singh Yadav (IOFS) as Part-time Official (Government Nominee) Director on its Board with effect from Thursday. Presently, he is serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Mines.

According to the company, Yadav has been appointed in place of Shakil Alam, EA, Ministry of Mines, and will hold the position until further orders.

A 2002-batch Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer, Yadav currently serves as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Mines. He has extensive experience in general management, defence manufacturing, production and policy implementation.

During his tenure with the Ordnance Factories Board, he played a key role in strategic programmes, including the indigenous development and production of the Dhanush 155mm/45-calibre Howitzer. The company said his expertise in industrial operations, public sector governance and strategic project execution is expected to strengthen HCL’s Board.
