New Delhi: Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar Sharma as Director (Catering Services) on a regular basis, effective September 22, 2025. The appointment follows the Railway Board’s order dated September 19, 2025.
Sharma, an officer of the 1995 batch of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), has been associated with IRCTC since March 2024 as Group General Manager of the North Zone. With 28 years of experience in the Indian Railways, he has handled diverse responsibilities across marketing, business development, operations, transportation, vigilance, safety, IT, and project development. He has worked in four railway zones — Northern Railway, Northeast Frontier Railway, North Eastern Railway, and South East Central Railway.
IRCTC has also confirmed that Sharma has not been debarred from holding the office of director by any regulatory authority. He is not related to any of the company’s directors or key managerial personnel, nor does he hold any shares in the company.
