IREDA announces senior finance appointments to strengthen governance framework

Tusarkant Parida has joined IREDA as Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), while Jagdeep Singh has assumed charge as General Manager (Finance & Accounts)

New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) has announced key senior-level appointments to strengthen its financial management and corporate governance framework on Tuesday.

Tusarkant Parida has joined IREDA as Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), while Jagdeep Singh has assumed charge as General Manager (Finance & Accounts).

The IREDA Board, at its meeting held on Tuesday, appointed Jagdeep Singh as Head of Internal Audit and Internal Auditor of the company for a tenure from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028, or until further orders. He succeeds A. Chandrashekar, who superannuated after heading the Internal Audit function.

Jagdeep Singh is a commerce graduate from Delhi University and a member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India, with over 27 years of experience across public and private sector organisations. Tusarkant Parida, a chartered accountant and commerce graduate from Utkal University, brings more than 24 years of experience in financial institutions and corporates.

IREDA Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Pradip Kumar Das said the appointments underline the company’s focus on financial discipline, corporate governance and risk management as it scales up financing for India’s renewable energy sector.
