Kapil Kotecha appointed as Independent Director on MOIL Board

MOIL Limited has announced the appointment of Kapil Kotecha as an Independent Director on its Board, with effect from July 7

New Delhi: MOIL Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel, has announced the appointment of Kapil Kotecha as an Independent Director on its Board, with effect from July 7, 2025. The appointment follows an order issued by the Government of India on July 3, 2025.

Kotecha is a commerce graduate and holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree. A seasoned businessman, he brings to the Board extensive hands-on experience in marketing and a robust understanding of commercial and legal business practices.

MOIL has clarified that Kotecha is not related to any existing Director or Key Managerial Personnel of the company and is not debarred by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other authority from holding the position of Director.

His induction as a Non-Official Independent Director is subject to the necessary approvals and adds further depth to MOIL’s Board as the company continues to focus on strategic growth and governance excellence.
