Kapil Verma appointed as Govt Nominee Director on EIL board

Engineers India Limited has announced the appointment of Kapil Verma as Government Nominee Director on its Board

New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL), a leading engineering consultancy and EPC company under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, has announced the appointment of Kapil Verma as Government Nominee Director on its Board.

According to an official communication received by the company, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas conveyed the approval of the Competent Authority through a letter dated June 19, 2025. Shri Verma’s appointment is effective immediately for a period of three years, co-terminus with the tenure or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Verma is currently serving as a Director in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. He brings with him rich administrative and sectoral experience that is expected to contribute significantly to the strategic direction and governance of EIL.

Engineers India Limited has stated that it is in the process of completing the requisite formalities related to the appointment, and additional disclosures as required under SEBI’s Listing Regulations will be filed separately.
