Kaushik Rakshit set to be next Director (Finance) of Jute Corporation

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Kaushik Rakshit for the post of Director (Finance) of Jute Corporation of India Limited

New Delhi: Kaushik Rakshit is set to be next Director (Finance) of Jute Corporation of India Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Textiles. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Senior General Manager (Finance and Accounts) at National Seeds Corporation Limited.

Rakshit has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of Jute Corporation from a list of nine candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB Selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 4. The other candidates on the list were one each from Cotton Corporation of India Ltd, SAIL, MRPL, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, NBCC (India) Limited, IREL (India) Limited, NHDC Limited and Aai Cargo Logistics & Allied Services Company.

As Director (Finance) of Jute Corporation, Rakshit will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the organisation and is responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation.
