Koustav Majumder appointed as CRO in Indian Overseas Bank

Indian Overseas Bank on Monday announced the appointment of Koustav Majumder as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the bank with immediate effect

New Delhi: Koustav Majumder, who was serving as General Manager, has been appointed as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Indian Overseas Bank with immediate effect. The announcement was made by the bank in a regulatory filing to the stock exchange on Monday.

Majumder is an experienced banker having 24 years of service in the bonk and has worked in various capacities including Regional Head of Hyderabad Region. He is a Postgraduate in Economics with CAIIB and has completed certificate courses from IIBF in Risk & Financial Services, Treasury and Advances.

He has undergone a one-year residential course of post-graduate diploma in banking & finance of NIBM, Pune as identified and sponsored by the bank. He has also enrolled for Professional certification in the Financial Risk Manager course from the Global Association of Risk Professionals which is the mandatory educational qualification requirement as per DFS guidelines.
