M Venkatachalam appointed as appointed Director (Power) of NLC India Ltd

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of M Venkatachalam for the post of Director (Power) of NLC India Ltd

New Delhi: M Venkatachalam has been appointed as Director (Power) of NLC India Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Power on Thursday. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Venkatachalam for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. May 31, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Presently, he is serving as Executive Director of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL).

Earlier, PSU Watch had reported when Venkatachalam was recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on October 25, 2022. We was selected for the from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel.
